Jaimini A. Dave, M.D.
A Board Certified Anesthesiologist since 1995, Dr. Jaimini Dave joined Cobb Anesthesia 1995. Dr. Dave obtained his medical degree and was Board Certified in Anesthesiology. He was an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology @ Medical College, Baroda, India, before moving to the USA. He was awarded a Gold Medal for the Best Performing candidate by Gujarat University in 1982. After moving to the USA, Dr. Dave completed residency training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark, New Jersey, where he was the Chief Resident during his final year. He was also awarded a "Robert Drips" award for the Best Graduating Resident in 1994.
After joining Cobb Anesthesia in 1995 he was involved in the new pain service in 1999-2000 and then was involved full time with the pain practice. He is well trained in acute, chronic and cancer pain management, including epidural steroid injections; radiofrequency rhizotomies; stellate ganglion bocks; spinal cord stimulation and implants; discograms; Vertebroplasty and Kyphoplasty for spinal compression fractures and Intrathecal therapy for cancer pains. He also sees patients for chronic opioid management.
Dr. Dave is an avid tennis player, enjoys spending time with his family and enjoys music in his spare time.
Anantha N. Kamath, M.D.
A board certified physician in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation since 2002, Dr. Kamath joined Resurgens Orthopaedics in 2001 as an Interventional Pain Management physician and in 2009 he joined Comprehensive Pain Management. He obtained his medical degree from Mumbai University (India), followed by a residency in Orthopedic Surgery. After completing two years as a junior orthopedic surgical fellow, he then proceeded to finish a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Boston University School of Medicine where he was Chief Resident in PM&R. Dr. Kamath specializes in the nonsurgical treatment of musculoskeletal, orthopedic and spinal disorders; using multiple spinal interventional procedures including epidural, facet join injection, radiofrequency ablation, Vertebroplasty, Kyphoplasty, spinal cord stimulation and diagnostic discography. Dr. Kamath is a strong proponent of regular exercise and physical therapy.
When not working as a physician, Dr. Kamath lives in Atlanta with his family and enjoys performing as a standup comedian, acting in Community Theater and playing soccer.
Rajesh K. Patel, MD
A Board-certified Anesthesiologist since 1994, Dr. Rajesh Patel started Comprehensive Pain Management in 1999 for Cobb Anesthesia. Dr. Patel obtained his Medical degree at Baroda Medical College in India, in 1983. He completed his residency in Anesthesiology in 1987. He taught Anesthesiology at Baroda Medical College for about a year. He moved to the US in 1989 and completed residency in Anesthesiology at University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey in 1993.
Prior to joining Cobb Anesthesia/Comprehensive Pain Management, Dr. Patel served as an Anesthesiologist at Thomas Hospital in Charleston, West Virginia. He later started his own Pain Management Practice in West Virginia.
Dr. Patel has expertise in a variety of minimally invasive therapies for the treatment of neck and lower back, including Epidural Steroid Injection, Selective Nerve Root Injection, Radio Frequency Ablation, Percutaneous Disc Decompression, Spinal Cord Stimulation, Sympathetic/Ganglion Blockade and Vertebroplasty/Kyphoplasty for Osteoporotic Compression Fractures. He also has extensive experience with Intrathecal Therapy for the treatment of pain secondary to cancer.
Dr. Patel is quite involved in exploring Spiritual Science. He lives with his family in Mableton.
Michael Lott, M.D.
A board-certified Anesthesiologist since 2009, Dr. Michael Lott joined Comprehensive Pain Management in 2010. Dr. Lott obtained his undergraduate degree from Fort Valley State University in 2000 and attended the Medical College of Georgia School of Medicine, where he was awarded his Doctor of Medicine degree in 2004. He completed an internship in Internal Medicine at the Morehouse School of Medicine and residency in Anesthesiology at Emory University. Dr. Lott completed a Fellowship in Interventional Pain Management at Duke University in 2009 where he was the Chief Pain Fellow and obtained additional training in Headache management.
Dr. Lott has expertise in a variety of minimally invasive therapies for the treatment of Headaches, Neck and Lower Back Pain, including Epidural Steroid Injection, Selective Nerve Root Blocks, Lumbar and Cervical Radiofrequency Ablation, Percutaneous Disc Decompression, Spinal Cord Stimulation trials and implantation, Sympathetic/Ganglion Blockade, Vertebroplasty, and Kyphoplasty for Osteoporotic and Malignant Compression Fractures.
He also has extensive experience in the treatment of Headaches using interventional procedures such as Cervical Radiofrequency Ablations, Pulsed Radiofrequency, Nerve Blocks, and Peripheral Nerve Stimulation.
Dr. Lott currently holds medical licenses in North Carolina and Georgia. Dr. Lott in his leisure time enjoys reading, golfing, jogging and spending time with his family.
Preetesh P. Patel, M.D.
A board-certified Anesthesiologist since 2006, Dr. Preetesh Patel joined Comprehensive Pain Management in 2010. Dr. Patel obtained his undergraduate degree at Emory University in 1997 and attended Mercer University School of Medicine, where he was awarded his M.D. in 2002. He completed an internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Maryland-affiliated Franklin Square Hospital and residency in Anesthesiology at Emory University. Dr. Patel completed a Fellowship in Interventional Pain Management at the University of California, San Diego in 2009.
Prior to joining Comprehensive Pain Management, Dr. Patel served as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Anesthesiology at the University of California, San Diego. While at UCSD, Dr. Patel focused on General and Obstetric Anesthesiology and Perioperative Pain Management. He was also actively involved in resident and medical student education and lectured extensively on Epidural/Spinal Analgesia and Opioid Pharmacology.
Dr. Patel has expertise in a variety of minimally invasive therapies for the treatment of neck and lower back pain, including Epidural Steroid Injection, Selective Nerve Root Injection, Radiofrequency Ablation, Percutaneous Disc Decompression, Spinal Cord Stimulation, Sympathetic/Ganglion Blockade, and Vertebroplasty/Kyphoplasty for Osteoporotic Compression Fractures. T. Steven Quach, M.D.
Comprehensive Pain Management is pleased to welcome Dr. T. Steven Quach as the newest member to our practice. He comes to us from Emory School of Medicine where he was an Assistant Professor and directed the Fellows/Residents education at the Pain Center. He graduated from medical school at University of Texas, San Antonio, and completed his Anesthesiology residency at the prestigious University of Michigan School of Medicine. Through his quest to gain additional knowledge in subspecialty of Pain management and improve care for chronic pain patients, he went on to complete additional training in the field of Interventional Pain Medicine with a fellowship from the renowned Mayo Clinic. Dr. Quach is Board Certified in both specialties of Anesthesiology and Interventional Pain Medicine.
Dr. Quach continually strives to improve quality care in area of Pain Medicine and Anesthesiology. While at Emory, he was involved in the education of fellows and residents, teaching reviews for Oral Board in Anesthesiology, and collaborated in clinical research to improve outcomes in the subspecialty of Interventional Pain Medicine. He is adept at the most up to date technology in Pain Medicine like Radiofrequency Ablations, Cryoneurolysis, Spinal Cord Stimulation, Intrathecal Pump Therapy, Vertebroplasty, and Kyphoplasty. But most importantly, he practices pain medicine with compassion and is firm believers in helping patients gain their quality of life back through multi-disciplinary approach in pain management.
